We have gaming machines if you like to gamble; pool tables, shuffleboard, and ping pong. In the summer, we have a beautiful deck full of ivy and flowers, with a covered stage that often includes live jazz or bluegrass.
The most endearing part of the Great Northern Bar is the people who work and play there. Our bartenders and kitchen staff are matched only in their friendliness by our regular customers. Smiles are everywhere. The neat thing about the Northern is, if you need to catch up on what has been going on, just be there for Friday happy hour, and you will get filled in. Even a ten year absence will usually be greeted with a “where the hell have you been?”
